Sometimes Eleanor forgot all about Pembrooke Fields. The running of her own stable, with horses her sole responsibility took up much of her time and memory. However, it was something of a relief to come back to the equestrian scene, to be back among the horses she grew up with. Della was a sweet mare, all kindness and goodness like her late dam. It would be a pleasure to ride her in her first show. Eleanor had only good expectations from the gray girl.
